watercolor invitations

First things first... I LOVE watercolor! Anything and everything watercolor, please. It is hands down my favorite medium. I fell in love with it my senior year in college when I randomly chose watercolor as one of my studio classes. The fluid and organic feel that only watercolor can achieve has my heart. The imperfections and drips make it that much more raw and beautiful. And can we talk about layering watercolor, I mean the possibilities are endless.

Watercolor has been a trend in wedding invitations and stationery for years (and rightfully so). It doesn't look like the trend will go anywhere any time soon and I am not mad about that, not one bit. So keep on keepin' on watercolor lovers! I have done several watercolor invitations over the years and I thought it was about time that I show you my most recent projects.

First up is this pretty floral invitation that I designed for a bridal shower. I am obsessed with the color palette of this wedding!

I designed this save the date postcard for a sweet bride and I can't wait to finish her invitations! I love the soft and natural feel of it.

This floral bridal shower invitation was done for my sister-in-law. My brother got married in December and I had so much fun designing their whole wedding suite!

Last but not least, I designed this cute and simple note card for The Big Fake Wedding, Austin. It was a unique and fun experience and I'm obsessed with the triangle envelope liner!

What current trends in stationery and weddings are you loving lately? I would love to hear from you!
